Dark Matter
Investigating how dark matter interacts with visible matter and developing theoretical models to understand its observational signatures. My work focuses on the implications for cosmic structure formation and the evolution of our universe.
QCD-like Theories and Axions
Exploring axion-like particles emerging from QCD-like theories, with particular emphasis on their role in solving the strong CP problem and their cosmological signatures.
Gravitational Waves
Developing novel detection methods for high-frequency gravitational waves, including their conversion to electromagnetic signals in axion haloscopes.

I am a Colombian theoretical physicist whose path began in Cali at Universidad del Valle. My academic trajectory spans Colombia, the United States, Germany, and Belgium, including graduate study at University of Wisconsin–Madison and a PhD in Physics from the Technical University of Munich. I subsequently held postdoctoral positions at Université Libre de Bruxelles and at DESY Hamburg, where I was awarded an Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship. I am currently based in Valencia, Spain, as a Ramón y Cajal Researcher.
