Workshops

Our Institute is equipped with an electrical and mechanical workshops including a number of modern computer controlled machines. The electronics workshop is capable ofdesign, prototyping, manufacturing and testing electronic systems. In addition, supports detector technologies use microelectronics, as for instance silicon particle detectors, in particular for ATLAS Upgrade, provinding support for testing chips and silicon structures, as well as the connection of their microchannels.

The workshop section of the Institute service to projects with mechanical needs, ranging from the conceptual design phase, calculation and simulation to the development of 3D models and drawings. In addition it can perform measurements and tests on existing components and assemblies.
