Cocktail served at L'Umbracle, in the botanic garden. During the cocktail there will be a live jazz performance by David Pastor's quartet.

Light dinner and poster session

This is half scientific, half social. A light dinner will be served at Sala d'Estufa freda while posters are exhibited and discussed.

Concert I: The Police

Wednesday, 22:00-24:00

This mythic band is playing in Valencia the 3rd day of the workshop. Some tickets were purchased by the Nufact08 organisation some months ago with the aim of including this remarcable event in the social programme. They are now shell at a reduced price:

Concert II: Tablao flamenco and dinner

Wednesday, 21:00-24:00

Flamenco is a genuine Spanish art form. It exists in three forms: el cante, the song, el baile, the dance, and la guitarra, the guitar playing. "Tablaos" are where you'll see the professional quality and choreographed shows.

Participants will be distributed in boats. A small apperitive with typical valencian producs (horxata and fartons) will be served.

Optional Excursion

Saturday, 17:00-22:00

Visit to the City of Arts and Sciences. Entry to the Oceanographic. A major tourist attraction made up of 11 modern, futuristic buildings designed by famous Spanish architect. The Oceanographic is the largest aquarium in Europe housing many species.

Guided tour by bus to the old part of Valencia. Visit the cathedral, palace, markets and old squares.
