FLASY 2011

1st Workshop on
Flavor Symmetries and consequences in Accelerators and Cosmology
11 – 14 July 2011, Valencia (Spain)

The main goals of the first "Workshop on flavor symmetries and consequences in accelerators and cosmology" (FLASY) is to summarize the theoretical status of flavor symmetries, bringing together young researchers in the field to stimulate discussions and new collaborations, with the aim of investigating possible new physics scenarios to be tested at the LHC, as well as in future neutrino, cosmology experiments and dark matter searches.

Topics covered by the conference:
  • Global fit of neutrino oscillations and neutrino mixing matrices (Tortola/Rodejohann)
  • Continuous and discrete symmetries (Hagedorn)
  • Grand unified models (Malinsky)
  • Dark matter (Taoso)
  • Flavor symmetries and collider phenomenology (Porod/Saavedra)
  • Neutrinoless double beta decay (Merlo)
  • Summary (Antusch)

Looking forward to seeing you in Valencia
