The Real Sociedad Española de Fisica has awarded Juan Carlos Perez Bueno the Young Researchers Prize in their December 2000 meeting.
(Former recipients of this prize are J. Navarro-Salas and J. M. Izquierdo).

A. Fabbri, D.J. Navarro and J. Navarro-Salas have been granted the fifth Award from the Gravity Research Foundation for the 2001 Essays. Their paper, A Planck-like problem for quantum charged black holes, has been published in Gral. Rel. and Grav. 33, 2119-2124 (2001).

On the week 9-12 June 2003 an 'Azcarragafest' took place at the Faculty of Physics of Salamanca Univ. on occasion of the 60th birthday of Prof. Azcárraga. The contributed papers of friends and colleagues have now been published (Aquilafuente Series, 2004) by the Univ. of Salamanca as the volume Symmetries in gravity and field theory.

The Spanish Royal Physical Society, the Spanish Royal Mathematical Society and the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology have jointly awarded (Sep. 25, 2005) the special prize 'World year of Physics' to J.A. de Azcárraga for his book ' En torno a Albert Einstein, su ciencia y su tiempo'.
