The Assembly Laboratory has a Nappless-Coombe linear stages for the alignment of the modules, and an optic system for pattern recognition. The stages are commanded by a controller, governed throught the computer using a LabView program developed at Manchester University.
The glue dispensing works on a Sony Cast Pro system with a dispensing system attached. All controlled by a PC using the LUNA language.
