It is with great regret and deep desolation that we have to inform you about the sudden death of our friend and colleague Jan Wennekers. Jan succumbed to a heart attack in the night of Friday December 4, 2009. He had just joined IFIC for a postdoctoral stay. Jan leaves behind his wife, Judith, and their one year-old baby, Jakob.
