Tutorial program

The Analysis of the all ATLAS distributed data over the world will be performed on the Distributed Computing GRID. Hence, those who are willing to take parte from the ATLAS Analysis activities will then need to know and interacte with this system.

This tutorial will therefore seek to address this need, and will cover the following material:

• Overview of the computing Grids
• Overview of the ATLAS data Analysis Model
• Physics Analysis Tools (PAT) and application
• Hands-on session: Using PAT to perform Physics Analysis
• Principles of the DDM system and its usage
• Hands-on session: Identifying, managing and getting the data with the DDM tools
• Overview of the ATLAS Distributed Analysis
• Hands-on session: Using GANGA to perform Physics Analysis
• Hands-on session: Using GANGA to produce Monte Carlo data

We have room to accomodate a 35 participants that are expected to bring their own laptops.
