Resumen
More then ten years have passed since the first observation
of Bose-Einstein condensation in trapped ultracold gases. A
brief overview will be given about experiments and theories.
Specific examples will be discussed about the characterization
of superfluidity and coherence properties of condensates by
means of light scattering and/or optical lattices. Recent
developments will be also presented in the physics of
ultracold fermions.
